Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

At Co-op, we are committed to fostering a workplace where every employee feels valued, respected, and connected. We understand, attract and engage a diverse workforce where every employee can live up to their full potential; ensuring that our employee base reflects the consumers we serve. The result of this effort is an inclusive environment where diverse talent thrives.

Our purpose is to foster a safe and inclusive work environment for people to bring their authentic selves in order to build a better community within our company and with our partners.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Council

With each year, the DE&I Council continues to grow at Co-op. These dedicated individuals ensure DE&I initiatives are a focus by partnering with various teams and departments across the organization.

Engagement Resource Groups

Engagement Resource Groups (ERGs) at Co-op launched back in April 2021 and have continued to grow ever since. Each ERG offers employees an opportunity to network, address common issues and concerns, and receive support from those who share similar backgrounds, experiences, and interests.

Our commitment to DE&I

The DE&I Council has three distinct strategic areas of focus:

Partnering with Talent Acquisition on a recruitment strategy that supports being a diverse employer.
Continuing to provide programs (mentoring, training for leaders and employees, etc) that support DE&I.
Increasing inclusion efforts within Co-op to engage differing perspectives, provide accommodations, and extend to all employees.
